Build.Log()

This is where I start building the future I really want.

Today is Monday, and I woke up early—Sunday was my workday, but today I’m off until 9PM. I started my morning preparing breakfast for my partner, who has a 24-hour duty (8AM–8AM). After bringing her to work, I headed straight to the gym.

I missed my usual early walk, so I made up for it by walking 60 minutes while listening to the Mindset Mentor podcast. After a 20-minute break, I added another 60 minutes on the treadmill. That brought me to 12,200+ steps for the day. ✅

After my walk, I went to PLDT to inquire about their Netflix promo (a request from my partner), but the deal was too expensive, so we decided it’s better to buy directly later on.

Back home, I was really hungry. I cooked up what I had—overcooked rice, an egg, leftover 24Chicken, a mix of Mule + Nestea, and finished a pack of Mang Juan. Not sure if I should call it a “meal” or “junk,” but that’s what I ate.

My plan was to rest and nap right away (around 12NN), but I fell into an old trap—watching random videos. Suddenly it was 2:30PM. I should have just slept. I finally napped and woke up at 6:30PM, thanks to my alarm.

I got up in a panic, realizing I didn’t do any work on my WordPress project or my journal section. I quickly prepared, gave treats to my dogs (Cloud, Cotton, and Chico 🐶), boiled two eggs for dinner, and left for work around 7:10PM. I arrived at the office around 8:10PM due to heavy traffic.

At 8:30PM, I had dinner: oatmeal with Milo and the two eggs. But again—I lost focus. I played Mobile Legends from 9:00PM until now (10:38PM). That’s 1.5 hours wasted on distraction.

But here’s the difference now:
I see it. I own it. And I choose to be better.

I’m deciding to focus—really focus. Not just for today, but for my future. I want to build something that will give me freedom. I want to do this not just for myself, but for my partner, my family, and the life I dream of.

✨ Notes to Myself:

  • It’s okay to fail, but it’s not okay to quit.
  • Distraction will always be there—discipline must be stronger.
  • Every small choice today builds the version of me tomorrow.
